NOTICE - PERTAINING TO MEETING IN PERSON & BY VIDEO CONFERENCE

A meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Bryan Independent School District will be held August 17, 2020, beginning at 6:00 P.M.  Pursuant to Governor Abbott’s Temporary Suspension of Open Meetings Laws issued on March 16, 2020, this meeting will be conducted both in person, live streamed on YouTube, and via video conference, which will be audible to the public and allow for two-way communication. The Board President, presiding officer, and trustees will all be physically present at the Bryan ISD Administration building.  The public may access the meeting by using the following telephone number 1(888) 475 4499, Meeting ID: 929 6387 5117 or by using the following videoconference link https://bisd.link/Board.

If you wish to address the Board of Trustees on either  item on the agenda or a non-agenda topic, you must fill out the Public Comment Signup sheet ten minutes prior to the beginning of the meeting.  When the Board reaches the Public Comment/Citizen Participation item on the agenda, the Board President or designee will request all comments, individuals will then address the Board.  The content of your written comments cannot exceed 3 minutes. To the extent practicable, all other public comment rules will be followed.

If, during the course of the meeting, discussion of any item on the agenda should be held in an executive or closed session, the Board will convene in such executive or closed session as permitted by and in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.
