4. Action Item: Consideration of Resolution Requesting Governor Abbott to Include Public School District Personnel in the Official Expert Vaccine Allotment Panel's Definition of Frontline Workers
Description:
The CDC has released vaccines for the COVID-19 virus. Given the importance of the role of educators, it is imperative they be included in the earliest possible round of vaccinations. The attached resolution is a request to the Governor to include educators as soon as possible.
Recommendation: It is recommended the Board approve the Resolution requesting Governor Abbott to include educators as soon as possible. |

5. Action Item: Consider and Possible Action to Approve Voluntary Retirement Agreement with Superintendent of Schools
Description:
In connection with her pending retirement, Dr. Williams and the board have reached a mutually acceptable agreement for her to resign her position as superintendent effective January 31, 2021.
Recommendation: It is recommended the board approve the voluntary retirement agreement between Queen City ISD and Dr.. Charlotte Williams and accept her resignation. |

6. Action Item: Consideration of Hiring Mr. Darrian Dover as Superintendent of Queen City ISD.
Description:
The Board has met and interviewed Mr. Darrian Dover. At this time, he should be named Superintendent of Schools.
Recommendation: At this time, the board should offer employment to Mr. Darrian Dover. |
