1. CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE TO FLAGS, AND MOMENT OF SILENCE. 

2. HEARING OF DELEGATIONS AND/OR INDIVIDUALS WHO WISH TO ADDRESS THE BOARD.

2.A. If necessary, adjournment into executive session under Tex. Govt. Code 551.074 to hear a complaint or charge against a school employee.

3. RESUME MEETING IN OPEN SESSION AND VOTE ON ITEMS DISCUSSED IN EXECUTIVE SESSION, IF NECESSARY.

4. CONSIDER NEW BUSINESS.

4.A. Discuss and consider approval of a policy related to student use of personal communication devices as required by House Bill 1481 from the 89th Legislature, Regular Session, 2025.

4.B. Discuss and consider approval of possible consequences regarding the new personal communications device policy (HB1481).

4.C. Discuss and consider approval of a resolution for the 2025-2026 Self-Certification of Increased Micro-Purchase Threshold.

5. BUDGET WORKSHOP.

5.A. 2025-2026 budget development.

5.B. Board discussion of property values and funding (FIRST Rating Indicator).

6. ADJOURNMENT INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION UNDER TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 551.074.

6.A. Discuss and consider the resignation, appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, and/or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

6.A.1. Discuss and consider approval of the 2025-2026 HISD Compensation Plan, including teacher salary schedule.
