1. Call to Order/Establish Quorum

2. Italy ISD Parent Comment Report

Description:

As part of the parental engagement policy, mandated by Senate Bill 12 (TEC 26.0071) in the summer of 2025, districts are required to provide an internet portal through which parents of students enrolled in the district may submit comments to campus and district administrators and the board. The board will then prioritize and present those comments at the beginning of each board meeting.

3. Adjourn to Closed Session

Description:

Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074

Personnel, to deliberate regarding the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee.
To discuss and collect information related to the Superintendent’s evaluation.
If needed for Team of 8 training purposes.

Pursuant to 551.071, and 551.129,

Consultation with the District’s Legal Counsel regarding Proposed Amendment No. 2 on the Application and Agreement for proposed tax limitation on Qualified Property- Oystercatcher Solar, LLC Application No. 1896.

4. Reconvene into Open Session for Action Relative to Closed Session

5. Action Items: Take action, if any, on other matters discussed in Closed Session.
