1. Call to Order/Establish Quorum

2. Italy ISD Parent Comment Report

Description:

As part of the parental engagement policy, mandated by Senate Bill 12 (TEC 26.0071) in the summer of 2025, districts are required to provide an internet portal through which parents of students enrolled in the district may submit comments to campus and district administrators and the board. The board will then prioritize and present those comments at the beginning of each board meeting.

3. The Board will convene in closed session pursuant to:

Texas Government Code Section 551.074 if necessary during training: Evaluating and Improving Student Outcomes.
Texas Government Code Section 551.074 Personnel, to deliberate regarding the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee. To discuss and collect information related to the Superintendent’s evaluation.

4. Reconvene into Open Session for Action Relative to Closed Session

5. Action Items

5.A. Consider and take possible action regarding the employment contracts of administrators as presented by administration.

5.B. Consider and take possible action regarding the employment contracts of current certified personnel as presented by administration.

5.C. Consider and take possible action regarding the employment contract of certified teacher, Tina Richards.

5.D. Consider and take possible action on the Prior Month Meeting Minutes for 3/23/2026.
