2. Italy ISD Parent Comment Report
Description:
As part of the parental engagement policy, mandated by Senate Bill 12 (TEC 26.0071) in the summer of 2025, districts are required to provide an internet portal through which parents of students enrolled in the district may submit comments to campus and district administrators and the board. The board will then prioritize and present those comments at the beginning of each board meeting. |

5. If during the course of the meeting covered by this Notice, the Board of Trustees should determine that a closed session of the Board of Trustees is required, then such a closed session as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 will be held by the School Board at the date, hour, and place given in this Notice or as soon after the commencement of the meeting covered by this Notice as the School Board may conveniently meet in such closed or executive meeting or session concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act.
