VIII.C.2. Approve the 2025-2026 Agreement for Non-Payment of Maintenance Funds and Tuition for Transfer Students between the Harrison County School District and the following school Districts:

VIII.C.3. Approve request for salary increases for support staff, teacher assistants, secretaries and clerical, maintenance and custodians, transportation, cafeteria, and computer technicians. The proposed salary adjustment aligns with district goals of employee retention, market competitiveness, and maintaining educational quality. Amount of Increase: $.50 per hour jump in rate on current salary schedules and normal step increase therafter; effective date: July 1, 2025.

VIII.C.16. Approve HCSD Student Representative Program. Selected students will be non-voting participants in board meetings, actively engage in discussions by listening, observing, and providng meaningful input. Students will be recruited from each Harrison Co. School District High School and selected through a competitive application process.

VIII.C.17. Approve Lease and Sublease, with PMAT-Stirling Crossroads, LLC, and Pedro's Gulfport, LLC, Section 16, Township 7 South, Range 11 West, Harrison County. (EBJ)

VIII.C.18. Approve a request allowing the Gulfport Police Department to use Crossroads Elementary School for their annual Summer programs. The dates are June 16, 2025, through July 18, 2025, 7am - 4 pm. (DB)

VIII.C.19. Approve request to allow Harrison County Sheriff's Department to use a school buses to during June 5, 2025, through July 16, 2025, to transport students during their annual BRAVE summer camp.

VIII.C.20. Approve affidavits for removal of property from the fixed asset inventory list for the Maintenance Department, and CDC for items that are broken beyond repair, lost, or stolen. Police reports attached. (DM)

VIII.C.21. Authorize requesting use of the County Farm Storm Shelter from Harrison County Board of Supervisors and waive rental fees for the Harrison Central High School Band's annual band banquet on April 11, 2025. (DBGA)

VIII.C.22. Authorize requesting use of the Woolmarket Community Center parking lot and waive rental fees for the Harrison County School District Nutrition Department USDA Summer Food service Program, Dining Trailer service during weeks of June 2-6 and June 9-13, 2025. (DBGA)

VIII.C.23. Approve 2025-2026 Harrison Central Cheerleader Team Constitution.

VIII.C.24. Approve out of state travel for the Harrison Central High School Track Team to attend the Magical City Invitational at Bogalusa High School in Bogalusa, LA, on April 10, 2025 at 1:30 p.m, traveling by Harrison County School bus. Cost for the trip will be paid for by the HCHS Track and Field Agency Account.

VIII.C.25. Approve out of state travel for members of Harrison Central High School Volleyball
to attend Team Competition Camp at Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond La, on June 8, 2025. Harrison County School Bus will be needed for transportation. Cost will be covered by the booster club. |
VIII.C.26. Approve out of state travel for Harrison Central High School Volleyball to represent State of Mississippi in the Tournament of Champions in Guntersville, AL - September 5, 2025 through September 7, 2025. Team will utilize school buses for tranportation and the cost will be covered by the booster club.

VIII.C.27. Approve out of state travel for West Harrison High School Rho Kappa (National Honor Society for History) to travel to the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile, AL to explore World War II history. Harrison County School bus will be needed for transportation. Rho Kappa will cover the $5 per person admission fee. Students are responsible for their own lunch and any additioanl purchases.

VIII.C.28. * Approve request allowing West Harrison High Senior Class permission to travel to OWA Park in Foley, Alabama in May 2025. The field trip will be for all graduating senior eligible to participate. The students raised money to cover travel expenses. However, any payment over $5,000.00 must be School Board approved for audit purposes. (JMA) |
VIII.C.29. Approve out of state travel for Harrison County Career & Technical Center Technology Student Association to attend the TSA National Conference and Competition Educators Rising permission to travel to Nashville, TN June 26, 2025-July 2, 2025. The cost of trip will exceed $5,000.00 and will be paid from the Carl Perkins funds, no costs to the district.

Approve out of state travel for Harrison County Career & Technical Center HOSA members to travel to Nashville, TN to compete in the HOSA International Conference June 17, 2025 - June 22, 2025. Transportation will be on a Harrison County School District bus, driven by Kaitlyn Derouen. The cost will be $5,685.00 for registration and lodging, paid by the students.

Authorize a PO to Phi Deltas Kappa/Educators Rising for $5,825.00 to pay for registration; a PO to Rosen Shingle Creek for $4,702.00 for lodging; and Carl Perkins funds released to cover the registration and lodging for 1st place winners - for HCCTC Educators Rising members to attend the National Conference in Orlando, FL. Out of state travel was previously SBA on 3/24/2025.
