VII.F.2. Bids for Flooring Replacement at Lyman Elementary School were opened and publicly read at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024, with bidders listed as follows:

VII.F.3. Authorize payment in the amount of $7,501.00 for Southern Fire Sprinkler, Inc., for 2024 annual fire extinguisher inspection for multiple schools.

VII.F.12. Approve Resolution Communication Tower Easement, for 16-7S-12W (County Farm Rd. 2.95 Acs.) to allow MS Power Company to grant the right to third parties to attach radios and like antennas or equipment within the area specified in the Easement. (EBJ)

VII.F.15. Approve USDA Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program Grant agreement in the amount of $909,155.00 for 17 schools, with the Child Nutrition Department for the 2024-2025 school year.

VII.F.16. Approve Designation of Applicant Agent for public assistance to identify Michael Weaver as the designated applicant agent for public assistance  FEMA-4528-DR-MS, and authorize executing applications for the purpose of obtaining and administering certain federal financial assistance. 

VII.F.17. Approve student transfers to and from other districts during the 2024-2025 school year.  A student release and data form is attached for each student transferring. (JBCD)

VII.F.18. Approve the 2024-2025 updated list of school bus turn-arounds for the Transportation Department.

VII.F.20. Authorize D'Iberville High School to enter a Beverage Agreement with Coca-Cola Bottling Company - Gulf Coast, LLC d/b/a Ocean Springs Coca-Cola Bottling Company, which includes (1) basketball scoreboard, (1) baseball scoreboard, and (1) softball, monthly commission on all benign products, and rebates. Specific terms are defined in the full document. (JK)

VII.F.21. Approve out of state travel for WWEMS Adventure Club for travel to Philadelphia, Hershey, Lancaster, PA, and Washington, D.C. June 1-7, 2025 for a student trip for 50 students. The cost of the trip will be  paid by students through fundraisers.  Agreement attached. (JMA)

VII.F.22. Approve request allowing D'Iberville Middle School 7th & 8th grade journey students to travel to Moss Point, Mississippi on January 10, 2025, for a field trip to the Grand Bay NERR center. (JMA) 

VII.F.23. Approve request to extend home-bound services for North Gulfport Middle School student due to medical condition.

VII.F.24. Authorize Rachel Burt to deposit $3,612.82 into the HCHS Girls Basketball Agency Account.  The HCHS Girls Basketball Booster club account was closed.

VII.F.25. Approve a request allowing the organization of an agency account for West Harrison Middle School Technology Student Association Club (TSA) and adopt the by-laws.

VII.F.26. Approve out of state travel allowing West Harrison Softball Team to travel to Destrehan, Louisiana, February 22, 2025, to participate in the Gulf Coast Classic.  (JMA)
