VI.D.2. Approve request allowing Harrison Central High School National Honor Society members permission to travel to Livingston, Louisiana, during April 2024 for a field trip to the LIGO Observatory. (JMA)

VI.D.3. Adopt Resolution of Cancellation of Lease with Jeff L. and Debra Savarese. The School Board approved the cancellation on June 17, 2019. The resolution will be filed in land deed records. (EBJ)

Authorize payment in the amount of $2,672,316.09 to Mississippi Power Company for pay application 2 - HVAC - Indoor Air Quality Energy Services Project for Woolmarket Elementary, D'Iberville Elementary, D'Iberville Middle, Orange Grove Elementary, Lizana Elementary, Lyman Elementary, Saucier Elementary, and Pineville Elementary. Authorize payment in the amount of $2,574,006.19 to Mississippi Power Company for pay application #3 - Indoor Air Quality Energy Services Project - HVAC - at Three Rivers Elementary, North Woolmarket, West Wortham, Harrison Central High, Bel-Aire Elementary, Crossroads Elementary, Harrison Central Elementary, and North Gulfport. VI.D.6. Approve the FY2024 Comprehensive Federal Plan Application (CFPA) and Budget as prepared by the federal programs team and Melissa Garrison, Federal Programs Director. (DJEC)

VI.D.7. Authorize to contact the Harrison County Board of Supervisors for use of the Lyman Community Center for their annual football banquet and request waiver of rental fees. The banquet is planned during December 2023.

VI.D.9. Approve acceptance of a monetary donation in the amount of $1,000.00 from an anonymous donor to West Harrison Middle School for unpaid cafeteria debts. (DFK)

VI.D.10. Bids for the West Harrison Middle School Baseball and Softball Concessions project were opened and publicly read at 2:00 p.m. on November 2, 2023 in the Board Room of the Harrison County School District Administration Building with bidders listed as follows:

Roberds General Cont. $1,510,091.00 Dixon Contracting Group $1,771,495.00 Phoenix Construction LLC $1,470,700.00 Approve the recommendation from Mitchell King, Superintendent of Education, and Marty Hardy, Architect, to reject the bid from Phoenix Construction. Per the contract documents, Phoenix Construction did not include a list of subcontractors with their bid as required. Approve the recommendation to award the contract to Dan Hensarling, the lowest and best bidder. A copy of the bids and tabulation are on file in the Superintendent's office. (DJED) |
