VI.B.1. Approve Claim Docket for checks prepared on August 25, 2023 and September 1, 2023, reconciled by the Accounting Department. (DJ)

VI.B.2. Approve Memorandum of Understanding between the Harrison County School District and the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services, Offices of Vocational Rehabilitation and Vocational Rehabilitation for the Blind. 

VI.B.3. Approve affidavits for removal of property from fixed asset inventory lists at West Harrison High School, Woolmarket Elementary, and the Harrison County Career and Technical Center, for items that are obsolete, missing, or broken beyond repair. (DM)

VI.B.4. Authorize payment in the amount of $30,482.01 to Wynn Clark, School Board Attorney, for professional services rendered on specific cases and litigation.  Documentation provided in attached files. (FDGB)

VI.B.5. Approve request allowing D'Iberville High School Foreign Language Club to travel to Mobile, Alabama, on November 17, 2023, to attend the International Festival. (JMA)

VI.B.6. Authorize Federal Programs to pay advanced placement and dual credit fees for high school students enrolled in classes during the first quarter of FY24, and eligible through Title IV, free and reduced meals. (IDGA)

VI.B.7. Approve a Change Order in the amount of $40,454.00 to J.W. Puckett for site work changes on the Creekbend Elementary and Middle School football stadium project.  Additional ($62,650.00) work includes west retention, removing and installing 30" hdpe. Credits ($22,196.00) include reducing perimeter drain and rock at the retaining wall. (FDGB)

VI.B.8. Authorize West Harrison High School to contact the Harrison County Board of Supervisors for assistance during their annual Hurricane Classic marching contest scheduled for Saturday, October 14, 2023. (EBGA)

VI.B.9. Authorize payment in the amount of $112,940.20 to J.W. Puckett & Co., Inc., for pay application #2 - Creekbend Stadium project. (FDGB)

VI.B.10. Approve request allowing D'Iberville High School cheerleaders to travel out of state to participate in the following UCA Regional competitions: (JMA)

VI.B.11. Approve request allowing organization of an agency club account for the D'Iberville High School Band.  A copy of the By-Laws is attached. (DFK)

VI.B.12. Authorize payment in the amount of $59,375.00 to Phoenix Construction, LLC, for pay application #6 - HCSD Warehouse Improvement project. (FDGB)

VI.B.13. Approve request to extend homebound instruction for Harrison Central High School student #1623, due to medical condition.  Documentation is provided. (IDDC)

VI.B.14. Approve request allowing Federal Programs permission to dispose of records and materials dated prior to the 2016-2017 school year. 

VI.B.15. Authorize to contact the Harrison County Board of Supervisors to request portable bleachers for home high school football games.  The band will be seated in the portable bleachers, allowing adequate seating for the home side spectators.

VI.B.16. Bids for On-Demand Tutoring were opened and publicly read on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the Superintendent's office with bidders listed as follows:

VI.B.17. Bids for Online Instructional Services were opened and publicly read on August 29, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. with bidders listed as follows:

VI.B.20. Authorize payment in the amount of $291,011.04 to J.W. Puckett for pay application #3 - Creekbend Stadium project. (FDGB)

VI.B.21. Approve request from Mitchell King, Superintendent of Education, to waive school attendance on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, for students at Bel-Aire Elementary.  The emergency closure was declared due to the air conditioning units not working in the main building. (EBBD)

VI.B.22. * Approve revised Dual Credit and Collegiate Academy Addendum with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for the 2023 fall semester.  There is a change in one of the courses offered. The original agreement was approved on August 21, 2023.  

VI.B.23. * Authorize payment in the amount of $121,471.75 to Dan Hensarling, Inc., for pay application #9 - West Harrison High Field House construction project. (FDGB)
