VI.D.1. Approve Claim Docket for checks prepared on August 11, 2023, and August 18, 2023, reconciled by the Accounting Department. (DJ)

VI.D.2. Approve an Amended Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Harrison County Sheriff's Department for the 2023-2024 school year. The original MOU was approved on July 10, 2023. The sheriff's department had an increase in salaries for the 2024 fiscal year.

VI.D.3. Approve Fiscal Year 2024 project application for implementation of the Special Education Program in the Mississippi Comprehensive Automated Performance-based System (MCAPS).

VI.D.4. Authorize Federal Programs to pay advanced placement and dual credit fees for high school students enrolled in clases during the first quarter of FY2024, and eligible through Title IV, free and reduced meals. (IDGA)

VI.D.9. Approve the Dual Credit and Collegiate Academy Addendum with the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for the 2023 fall semester.

VI.D.10. Approve affidavits for removal of property from fixed asset inventory lists at the following: West Harrison Middle, Woolmarket Elementary, Crossroads Elementary, HC Career and Technical Center, and West Wortham Elementary and Middle School. The items are obsolete, damaged beyond repair or lost/stolen. Police reports are provided for stolen items. (DM)

VI.D.14. Approve a Non-Disturbance and Recognition Agreement with Dolgencorp, LLC, for the 16th section land located on Crossroads Parkway (former Pier I building). PMAT-Stirling Crossroads, LLC is the master leaseholder and landlord for Dolgencorp, LLC. (EBJ)

VI.D.15. Approve the 2023-2024 District English Learner Plan as prepared by Melissa Garrison, Federal Programs Director.

VI.D.16. Approve the Pre-K Grant Agreement and proposed budget with United Way of South Mississippi for the Pre-K Forward program at the following locations:
Lizana Elementary, North Woolmarket, Crossroads Elementary, Bel-Aire Elementary, River Oaks Elementary, Harrison Central Elementary, D'Iberville Elementary, and Saucier Elementary. A total of eight (8) units and total cost of $499,260.00. |
VI.D.17. Approve request allowing Woolmarket Elementary fourth grade gifted education students attend a field trip to the Gulf Coast Gator Ranch in Moss Point.

VI.D.18. Approve request allowing Naval Construction Battalion Center to use West Harrison High School as a temporary relocation site for their Emergency Response Team if necessary during an evacuation.

VI.D.19. Approve 16th Section Land Lease Agreement with PMAT-Stirling Crossroads, LLC, for property at Crossroads Shopping Center. The lease Agreement shall be for forty (40) years beginning January 1, 2024. Please note: They are the current leaseholder for the lease assignment in February 2022, which does not have a lot of remaining years. The property was re-appraised to determine the current fair market rent. (EBJ)
