X.B. Consideration and Approval to Distinguish Teacher Workday and Collaboration Day on the 2014-15 School Calendar
Description:
The board approved calendar has 3 dates as Teacher Workday/Collaboration Day. In the negotiated agreement, teacher workdays are designated for teacher activities chosen by the teacher. Collaboration time is defined as 40 minutes per week. Teachers are losing their workdays as collaboration time is assigned by either the principal or the superintendent.

Description:
The USDA meal price calculator for our district has advised a .10 increase per lunch for all age groups. The USDA adult min lunch price has also increased. If we do not increase our lunch prices the full .10 this year we will not be eligible for any State grant money for equipment that will be offered during the 14-15 school year - per State instruction.
