3. Communications and Call to the Public
Description:
The Governing Board welcomes communication from residents of the District and has provided a specific place on the agenda for the public to address the Board on any concerns within the jurisdiction of the Governing Board. We do ask that everyone limit their comments to three minutes so that all those who wish to speak may have the opportunity to do so.
If an item has not been listed on the posted agenda, the Board, by law, cannot discuss it or take legal action on it. At the conclusion of the open call to the public, individual Board members may 1.) Respond to criticism made by those who have addressed the Board, 2.) Ask staff to review a matter or 3.) Ask that a matter be put on a future agenda. We are required by law to record in the meeting minutes the names of those who speak, so the name of the person speaking will be recorded before the Board is addressed. |

11. Discussion and request for approval for the use of remaining unused School Office Renovation funds. Discussion and request for authorization to enter into a contract amendment to the Chasse Building Team Construction Manager At-Risk (CMAR) Agreement as approved by the Governing Board in October 2020. This amendment does not increase the original Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) amount.

12. Discussion and request for approval of a Resolution to inform the Arizona School Facilities Board of our District’s intent to sell the Oracle Ridge property, located at 725 N. Carpenter Drive, Oracle, AZ 85623.

13. Discussion and request for approval of a telecommunications agreement between the District and Education Networks of America (ENA) by Zayo for a cloud-based voice over internet (ViOP) phone service in the Oracle Elementary School District.

14. Discussion and request for approval of Instructional At-Will Work Agreements for the 2023-2024 school year.

Discussion and request to schedule a Special Meeting of the Governing Board on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 9:00 AM on Zoom to discuss and approve the renewal of health insurance benefits for eligible employees during the upcoming 2023-2024 fiscal year.

To consider, discuss, amend if desired, and, if deemed advisable, to adopt a Resolution ordering and calling for a Special Budget Override Election to be held in the Oracle School District and declaring the deadline for submitting arguments “for” and “against” the election to the Pinal County School Superintendent as August 11, 2023 at 5:00 PM.

17. Discussion and request for approval of a Results Based Funding Plan in accordance with A.R.S. 15-249.08 for eligible Mountain Vista K-8 School teachers and principal to be paid at the end of the current 2022-2023 school year and the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.

Monday, May 15, 2023 at 9:00 AM - Special Meeting of the Governing Board to be held on Zoom and include the District’s Annual Budget Revision. Monday, June 5, 2023 at 6:00 PM - Regular Meeting of the Governing Board to be held in-person and on Zoom. At this time, Governing Board Members may request items to be considered and included on the agenda of a future meeting. |
