Chair Silas Paniptchuk called the 233rd Regular Meeting of the Bering Strait School District Board of Education to order at 10:44 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

Each Board Member introduced themselves and stated which communities they represent. Chief School Administrator and District Staff Silas Paniptchuk introduced Chief School Administrator Susan Nedza, who introduced the District Office staff: Mark Vink, Business Manager, Carolyn Heflin, Director of Curriculum & Instruction, Tammy Dodd, Coordinator of Federal Programs & Staff Development, Gary Eckenweiler, Director of Maintenance, Dale Richesin, Director of Human Resources, Jennifer Eller, Coordinator of Educational Technology (via zoom), Jessie Towarak, Coordinator of Special Education (via zoom).
