4.A. IDEA-B Grant- SC 5003
Description:
SC 5003 needs to be submitted by each district. It is in TEAL in the eGrants application under the Special Collections tab. Instructions are attached. If you use the EC for Title or Carl Perkins funding, they may do this for you.

4.B. IDEA-B Grant- ADC (Application Designation Certification)
Description:
This also needs to be completed in TEAL in the eGrants application under the Grants tab. I do not believe ESC will complete this for you. Instructions on how to complete this are attached.

4.C. Random Moment Time Study
Description:
Be sure at least one person from your district is trained in RMTS for fiscal year 2023. The website to register is-

4.F. RTI/MTSS Training for all District Staff
Description:
Secondary Staff training will be from 9:30- noon.
Elementary/Intermediate Staff training will be from 1:00-3:30. Training will be as follows:

4.G. SPED Teacher Training at SSA
Description:
This training will be from 8:30-3:30 with lunch provided. Training dates are as follows:

4.H. Staff Assignments
Description:
SLP, Diagnostician, PT/OT, and other Related Service Staff assignments are attached. Behavior Specialist assignments will be determined later in May. We will get that to you as soon as we have it.

5. Discussion

5.A. June Board Meeting Date
Description:
There is a conflict with the current scheduled Board Meeting date on June 15. We need to discuss a date that will work in order to form a quorum.

5.B. Fiscal Agent Fee
Description:
Last year, it was discussed that the Fiscal Agent Fee be reduced, if possible. We need to revisit that discussion to determine if we need to reduce the fee or keep it frozen.

5.C. 2022-2023 Preliminary Budget
Description:
A preliminary budget for 437 (Local Funds) is attached. We are still working on adjusting new hire salaries and raises (if approved), but this should be close. We would also like to consider reducing this budget by $200,000 from Fund Balance.

6.B. Occupational Therapist Contract Days
Description:
Julie Wilder has been a part-time Occupational Therapist but has requested to go full time, beginning the 2022-23 school year. Her current contract is for 145 days. If approved, her new contract would be 191 days.

6.C. Salary Raises to Match Covington ISD
Description:
Covington's Board approved, on average, a 7% raise for their staff. We would like to ask for a 5% raise for our professional contracted staff. Attached is a spreadsheet that shows our current salary steps as well as a 5% raise.

6.D. Director's Salary
Description:
In March, the SSA board approved extending the Director's contract for an additional year. However, a raise was not discussed.
