Patty Barrerra - program evaluation - TEA requires evalutions. English proficiency scores added and reclassification of students. Estabilishing criteria for reclassifying students. 7 teacher ESL waivers. Out of 33 teachers that teach ESL only 7 need a waiver.

8.C. Review Pilot Point ISD Police Department Resolution

Dr. Colson - Resolution to create a PPISD Police Department - previous resolution provided again for board members that were not a part of the trustees
Intentions to move forward with this. No action required at this time. As a district we can move forward and hire a chief which will be posted tomorrow - we can do this prior to getting the TCOLE number. A chief will help to complete the process of forming the department. Current SRo's will continue through the end of the year. Amy questioning - will the resolution include officers to be outside of PPISD boundaries? MOU with the County Sheriff's and State - field trip, extra curricular activity will our officers have control of issues. |

Looking at stopping to allowing transfers. Looking at grandfathering in current transfers and siblings but stopping to allow all new transfers.
