ND Department of Human Services, Vocational Rehabilitation Division - Purchase of service Agreement (Contract #700-12368) for Pre-Employment Transition Services

Description: 

1. MCPSD#1 expresses sympathy to the Dehaven family and friends for the passing of Bonnie Dehaven.  Bonnie served the district for approximately 25 years until her retirement from Food Service.  She was a valuable member of the wolves Family.

Dr. Holen provided the board with a recap of the NDSBA Annual Conference held 10/28/2021 & 10/29/2021.  President Wisness attended the Law Seminar and the Conference.  Holen & Voll attended the Law Seminar.  Hebert attended the New Member Seminar and Conference.  Dr. Holen provided a few points of note from the Law Seminar.
2. Dr. Holen provided a status update regarding various grant submissions and awards to date.  Mary Anderson transitioned to special projects.  Holen highlighted the following pending grants, Federal Coronavirus and Technical Education Capital Projects and Emergency Connectivity Fund.

2. Dr. Holen provided a staffing update.  He reviewed the following items for board approval: application for the FHES interventionist position, special education staffing at FHES, advertising of professional positions 2022 - 2023 & positions considered for advertising, classified/ancillary for all buildings shortages & EL program, substitute teacher report, and ND PHIT.
3. Tuition agreement received J. Mitchel, 2^nd grade, to attend Alexander District at $0.00.  Tuition worksheet provided for reference.
