Description:
If needed, the Board will conduct a closed meeting for purposes permitted by:
Texas Government Code §551.074, discussion of appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, compensation, or duties of public employees. Texas Government Code §551.071, §551.072 deliberate purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property. Discuss and consider the purchase of real property and improvements located at FM 105 at Kibodeaux Road (southwest corner) (Tract 133 and 133C) (approximately 26 acres). Open Meetings Act, Government Code Chapter 551, Subchapters D and E. If necessary, the Board will convene in closed session for discussion of any item on the agenda. All final votes, actions, or decisions will be taken in open meeting. |

15.A. Consideration of and Possible Action to adopt a resolution authorizing the Superintendent to pursue the purchase, tender funds, execute all documents necessary to close on the real property and improvements located at FM 105 at Kibodeaux Road (southwest corner) (Tract 133 and 133C out of the William Dyson Survey, Abstract 10, Orange County, Texas) (approximately 26 acres). The resolution to be adopted also provides for the District, through the Superintendent, to order a survey of the real property and an environmental report. Finally, the resolution to be adopted also provides for the assumption of a one-year lease of a small parcel of the property to be purchased, a requirement to effectuate the purchase of the real property.
