I. Meeting Details
Description:
This School Board Meeting will be held in-person and virtually in the School Board Room and online. In order to view the meeting, please use the provided URL Zoom link.
If you join virtually, please note that you will be joining a meeting as an attendee, meaning that you will be able to see and hear the participants of the Board meeting but they will not be able to see or hear you. If you plan to speak during the Public Comment portion, please be sure to review the attached guidelines that are new as of February 2023. You can also download the speaker form from the agenda or complete it at the meeting. Meeting handouts will be added to the Board agenda on the evening of the meeting. A recording of the meeting will be posted on the School Board agenda webpage within 48 hours of the meeting. Description:

V. Consent Agenda - Mr. Jurowski
Description:
Consent agenda items are routine items that the Board approves without discussion. Board members may remove items from the consent agenda for further discussion, or to vote differently on that particular item.

V.A. Agenda
Description:
The Board will approve or revise the agenda for the meeting.

V.B. Bills for Payment
Description:
Bills for payment include all invoices that are currently due by the district.
|
V.C. Minutes
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve the minutes as listed. Minutes are typically posted on the website once a month.

V.D. Staffing - New Hires, Resignations, Retirements, Revised FTE
Description:
Board members routinely approve various staffing items on the consent agenda. Staffing decisions that have a large scale impact and need more discussion are listed on a different part of the agenda, as appropriate.

Description:
The Board will be asked to approve various donations.

VI.C.1. Third Reading and Approval of Revised Policies
Description:
Board members will be asked to approve the third reading of the following revised and/or new policies, which is the final approval process:
111- Anti-Harassment by Board Members 166-Board Student Representative 171- Regular School Board Meetings 426-Homeless Students Board members will also be asked to formally approve the elimination the following policies: 112- Human Relations 114.1- Appointed District Secretary

VI.D. Capital Effectiveness - Mr. Vega

VI.D.1. 2024-25 Preliminary Budget Review
Description:
The Board will receive information related to the current status of the 2024-25 preliminary budget.

VI.D.2. 2024-25 Staffing Plan Revisions Approval
Description:
The Board will discuss and be asked to approve the potential reductions of seven positions due to reduced enrollment and the addition of one position to assist with high school student academics.

VII. Superintendent’s Report
Description:
The Superintendent or designee will provide the Board with informational items related to recent or upcoming topics or events.

VIII. President’s Report
Description:
Ms. Williams will provide the Board with informational items related to recent or upcoming topics or events.

IX. Announcements
Description:
Board members may make announcements related to recent or upcoming topics or events.

X. Closed Session - The Board will move into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Section 19.85(1)(e) to deliberate or negotiate the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session to discuss teacher, secretary, and paraprofessional negotiations and pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Section 19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility to discuss and vote on preliminary non-nenewals of probationary staff members.
