Description:
Board members may recognize students, staff or community members for outstanding contributions to the district or educational community.

IV. Resident Participation
Description:
Resident participation is for those who wish to speak to the Board. Please review the Resident Participation guideline document at the meeting for more information. Those who wish to receive follow up after the meeting should sign in at the table near the door. Time will be limited to two minutes per speaker/letter. (This is equivalent to approximately 260 words.) Resident participation will be stopped after one hour.

V. Consent Agenda
Description:
Consent agenda items are routine items that the Board approves without discussion. Board members may remove items from the consent agenda for further discussion, or to vote differently on that particular item.

V.A. Agenda
Description:
The Board will approve or revise the agenda for the meeting.
|
V.B. Bills for Payment
Description:
Bills for payment include all invoices that are currently due by the district.
|
V.C. Minutes
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve the minutes as listed. Minutes are typically posted on the website once a month.

V.D. Staffing - New Hires, Resignations, Retirements, Revised FTE
Description:
Board members routinely approve various staffing items on the consent agenda. Staffing decisions that have a large scale impact and need more discussion are listed on a different part of the agenda, as appropriate.

VI.A. Curriculum Expectations - Mr. Perry

VI.A.1. Introduction of Mr. Bryan Terry, New High School Principal
Description:
Mr. Terry will be present to introduce himself to the Board and community.

VI.A.2. Middle School Schedule 2021-22 Approval
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve a revised middle school schedule for the 2021-22 school year.

VI.A.3. Revised Summer School Policy - 2nd Reading
Description:
The Board will be asked to approve the second reading of the policy, which is revised to provide more flexibility regarding the dates of when summer school may be offered.

VI.B. Character Education - Mr. Vega

VI.C. Community Engagement - Ms. Brooks

VI.C.1. School Board Officer Elections
Description:
School Board members will elect the offices of president, vice president, clerk and treasurer.

VI.C.2. School Board Book Study Discussion
Description:
The Board will continue their discussion regarding "The Governance Core."
|
VI.C.3. Revise District Mask Policy
Description:
The Board will be asked to revise the District Mask Policy to permit the use of masks outdoors on school grounds as optional and not required. This will include students and staff at recess, student athletes at practice and games, and visitors to school grounds. Masks will continue to be required inside all school buildings for all individuals.

VI.D. Capital Effectiveness - Mr. Shelenske

VI.D.1. ESSER Funding Discussion
Description:
The Board will discuss the use of ESSER 2 and ESSER 3 funds with plans for approval at a future meeting.

VII. Superintendent’s Report
Description:
Dr. Weiss will provide the Board with informational items related to recent or upcoming topics or events.

VIII. President’s Report
Description:
Vice President Perry will provide the Board will informational items related to recent or upcoming topics or events.

IX. Announcements
Description:
Board members may make announcements related to recent or upcoming topics or events.
|
X. Closed Session - The Board will move into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Section 19.85(1)(e) to deliberate or negotiate the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session to discuss secretary and paraprofessional negotiations.
