Description:
Texas Education Code 44.004 requires a public meeting of the Board of Trustees to discuss the school district’s proposed 2024-2025 budget and tax rate. Information was shared with the Board on June 17, 2024, and July 22, 2024. Following the public meeting, the Board may consider adopting the 2024-2025 budget and tax rate.

9.B. Consideration and possible action regarding the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (TTESS) certified appraisers for the 2024-2025 school year.
Description:
The Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser has a vital role in evaluating teaching and learning in order to provide meaningful feedback to staff. Appraisers support teacher efforts to improve instruction and student performance through observations and feedback. The T-TESS evaluation system requires that all appraisers successfully complete initial training and pass a certification exam prior to conducting formal observations. Experienced administrators must also pass a recertification exam that helps appraisers calibrate their observations and deepen their understanding of the T-TESS rubric.
