I. Understanding School Finance Board Work Session (Full Board Participation)

Description:
As part of the Board’s strategic plan the District will provide a hands on tool to provide understanding of the variables, stakeholders, and nuances of school finance before the conclusion of the 2015-2016 school year. Based on Board responses for the best possible date the hands on tool has been scheduled for Monday, January 25th starting at6:30pm in the board room. Scott Brown, former Superintendent of McFarland and adjunct professor at Edgewood College will be presenting the tool used that unfolds much like a board game.

II. School Safety Task Force - Committee Membership

Description:
The Board of Education agreed to create a committee with diverse membership to study and make recommendations for school safety. The Board set today's meeting as a time to recommend committee members. The District requests the board define the scope of the recommendations by offering specific areas to study or questions to be answered.
