Description:
After attempting to fill the half-time music position vacancy, a viable candidate has not been able to be secured. The administration now recommends dispersing the vacant music duties to already existing employees.
|
III.2. Approval of a Preliminary Budget
Description:
A preliminary budget is presented for board approval. The budget as presented represents a live document that will be continuously updated in the areas of open enrollment, state aid estimates, and third Friday counts until the levy is certified in October. This document will carry the District until the final budget is approved. |
IV. ITEMS FOR INFORMATION/DISCUSSION
|
IV.1. Proposals for Possible Stadium Enhancements at the Elementary or High School.
Description:
When the high school was built, a plan for a stadium adjacent was abandoned due to lack of funds. Fifteen years later, little to no efforts have been made to enhance the existing stadium location nor move the location adjacent to the high school.
A steering committee consisting of Ted Evans, Mitch Wainwright, Vickie Dahl, Andy Palzkill, Anne Palzkill, Roger Palzkill, Tom Steger, and Dan Burreson has worked with the Rettler Corporation to bring forward proposals to inform the board of possible options for future stadium enhancements at both locations. There is an expressed interest to fundraise for future enhancements to the stadium selected once a project has been selected by the board. |
