6. Summer School Schedule of Instruction
Description:
The first day of instruction will begin May 31 and conclude June 29. Summer school will be available to any of our currently enrolled students.
The schedule will be: 7:30-8:00 Breakfast 8:00-11:30 Instruction 11:30-12:00 Lunch 12:00-3:30 Instruction Summer school will be mandated for students required due to HB4545, attendance, credit recovery, non mastery of a class. Classes will also be available for our SPED students and Bilingual/ESL students. 1st week May 31-June 7 HB4545 any student not passing one STAAR exam, Bilingual/ESL, SPED, attendance, credit recovery and non mastery of coursework 2nd week, May 31-June 14 HB4545 any student not passing two STAAR exams; Bilingual/ESL, SPED, attendance, credit recovery and non-mastery of coursework 3rd week, May 31-June 21 HB4545 any student not passing three STAAR exams; Bilingual/ESL, SPED, attendance, credit recovery and non-mastery of coursework 4th week, May 31-June 23. HB4545 any student not passing four STAAR exams, Bilingual/ESL, SPED, attendance, credit recovery and non-mastery of coursework June 23 Last day for HB4545, SPED, credit recovery and non-mastery of coursework 5th week, May 31-June 29.
