VIII. Professional Development

VIII.A. Recommend Greg Mikulich attend the Indiana Principal Leadership Institute on April 14, 2021 in Indianapolis, IN with expenses paid from Title IIA. 
 

VIII.B. Recommend Beth Buckley attend the Virtual ECA (Extra Curricular Account) Workshop on April 22, 2021 with expenses paid from the Education Fund.
 

VIII.C. Recommend Dr. Shirley attend the IAPSS (Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents) Annual Meeting on April 6-7, 2021 with expenses paid from Title IIA.

VIII.D. Recommend approving the Professional Development items.

IX. Leave/Resignation/Employment
All new employment to Lake Ridge New Tech Schools is contingent upon a cleared Expanded Criminal History Background Check within 30 days and a cleared Expanded Child Protection Index Check within 60 days of effective date.  IC 20-26-2-1.5 and IC 20-26-2-1.3

IX.A. Recommend accepting Dwight Long’s retirement request from the Lake Ridge New Tech School District’s Truant Officer position effective June 3, 2021.
 

IX.B. Recommend accepting Myles Toliver’s resignation from the Assistant Varsity Track Coach at Calumet New Tech High School effective March 17, 2021.
 

IX.C. Recommend accepting Connie Martinez’ resignation from the Assistant Varsity Softball Coach and the Head JV Volleyball Coach at Calumet New Tech High School effective March 11, 2021.
 

IX.D. Recommend Charae`D Saunders be employed as a Title I Paraprofessional at Lake Ridge New Tech Middle School effective March 23, 2021.
 

IX.E. Recommend Yvonne Acevedo be employed as the Guidance Secretary at Calumet New Tech High School effective upon the start of the 2021-2022 school year.
