Discussion:  The board president called the meeting to order at 5:32 PM. A quorum was present and due notice had been posted and published. 

Discussion:  Matt Barrett led in prayer.

Discussion:  Elementary UIL academic champions were recognized by the board. 

Discussion:  There were no citizens that signed up. 

Discussion:  Dr. Hill & Mr. Spivey were available to answer any questions regarding bills from the previous month. 

Discussion:  Dr. Hill presented the budget report.

? Benchmarks are complete. We have had data meetings and plans are in place to support our weak
areas.
Mr. Massey presented the Middle school report. Both the boys and girls basketball teams had successful seasons. The 7th and 8th grade boys were undefeated district champs. ? Track season has started. Our first meet will be the Bozy Adams Relays on March 2 ? Cheer Tryouts have wrapped up. GMS will have 12 cheerleaders ? Mikaya Garcia, Chaleigh Reneau, Claire Jeans, Makenna Leeder, Parker Frazier, Claire Hairgrove, Brintley McCollister, Quinn Horton, Melanie Valadez, Averie Shull, Audrey Taylor and Georgia Taylor. Our mascot is Bristol Souza. ? We had the GMS Valentine’s dance on Friday, February 20. ? 8th Grade students participated in the GHS CTE showcase on Monday, February 23 ? Student Council held a coin war last week between GMS and GES. All donations went to Scarlett Vance
Mr. Spivey presented the high school report. Benchmark testing is over and our scores are looking promising. We are running a little behind in English. ? TELPAS testing is underway. ? CTE Showcase for incoming Freshman. February 23rd. ? We have our new cheerleaders for next year. 16 in total and 1 mascot. ? CPR Training for some high school students
TICS ? Basketball season has ended. Both the girls and boys ended the season with wins. The band is currently working toward perfecting their UIL concert performance Last week was National FFA Week. There was a duck hunt, pretzels and chili. ? Nacogdoches County Steer Show the first week of March.
