Mrs. White presented the Elementary board report. 28 students pre-registered through the Pre-K & Kg Round-up. Kindergarten has completed their End of Year Maps testing, showing that our new reading curriculum is laying a very strong foundation. First and second grade are finishing thier EOY TPRI testing MAPS testing. Mr. Massey gave the middle school board report. STAAR season is going well. We have completed two test with two more remaining. 10 girls were selected to the GMS twirling line.Carlton driving school classes start today with 15 middle school students participating. FFA students have been competing in several CDE contrest. Mr. Compton gave the high school board report. Academic UIL is April 26th at Panoala. STAAR testing is underway with English I and Engilsh II completed. Garrison Baseball are district champions for the 5th year in a row. Several students qualified for the state track meet from the regional track meet. GHS Wind Sympohy competed at the UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Competition earning a Superior Rating on both stage and in sight-reading. Garrison FFA will have thier Ag Banquet on April 28th. Many students have been competing and doing well in CDE Results. All principals gave a run-down of upcoming events.
