2.A. Committee Members include Trustees, Library Director

3. Open Session:
The Decennial Committee will now receive public comment concerning efficiencies and survey public for any recommendations to be added to the written report. Such comments should not include discussion of personnel matters, which should be brought directly to the attention of the Director. This Committee meeting is a meeting held in the public. It is not a meeting of the public. It is the prerogative of the Committee Chair/President of the Board to recognize members of the audience. If you are recognized to address the Committee, you are asked to stand, identify yourself, and to address the whole Committee. Your comments are limited to five minutes. |
4. New Business

4.A. The Chair (Board President) will identify two community members to serve on the Decennial Committee
|
4.B. The Committee will direct Library Staff to compile information to bring to the committee regarding efficiencies and bring the information to the next meeting of the Committee
|
4.B.1. Motion Requested: Committee moves to direct Library Staff to gather information on efficiencies.
|
4.C. The Committee will set the date for the next meeting for August 23, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. with the agenda to discuss and review the information on efficiencies. The Committee will set the deadline for the written report to be filed by Oct. 1, 2024, in all three counties. The Committee will dissolve at the time of the filing of the written report and a new Decennial Committee will be established in April 2033 to review the efficiencies of the Library District.

4.C.1. Motion Requested: The Committee moves to set the dates for the Committee as follows: next Committee meeting as Aug. 23, 2023; the Report to be filed by Oct. 1 2024, and the Committee to dissolve and a new Committee to be created in April 2033.
