4.A. Election of School Board Members:Ryne Emler (2025), Craig Bierman (2025), and Peggy Udelhoven (2025), were elected to the Board of Education in April 2025.

4.B. Each speaker addressing the chair should state his or her name and address.

4.C. All voting will be by voice votes, unless a division of the house is specifically requested.

5. Election of a Chairperson

5.A. The Board President opens the discussion for nomination and selection of the Annual Meeting Chairperson.

5.B. Chairperson announces that minutes of the 2024 Annual Meeting were approved at the November 2024 Regular School Board Meeting.

6. Financial Report of Whipfli LLP, auditors
|
|
6.A. The School District audit was performed according to generally accepted accounting procedures and is available for public review at the administrative office.

7. Presentation of the Proposed Budget and 2025-26 Budget Hearing - Kurt Cohen

9. Resolutions
|

9.A. Resolution A: Adoption of the 2025-26 budget and tax levy
|
|
9.A.1. BE IT RESOLVED that the School Board levy a tax of $2,619,547 to operate the schools for the district during the 2025-2026 fiscal year if the referendum is successful:
$2,136,978 for operation 482,569 for debt service 0 for community service -------------------------------------- $2,619,547 |

9.B. Resolution B: Motion to authorize short term borrowing
|
|
9.B.1. BE IT RESOLVED that the School Board be authorized to make temporary loans for the current operation of the District according to statutory requirements.
|
|
9.C. Resolution C: The Selling of school property
|
|
9.C.1. BE IT RESOLVED that the School Board is hereby authorized, during the current school year, to sell and dispose of any tangible personal property belonging to the School District that is determined by the School Board to be no longer needed for school purposes {120.10(12)}.

|
9.D. Resolution D: The establishment of compensation for School Board members
|
|
9.D.1. BE IT RESOLVED that the School Board members' compensation be established at $60 per meeting attended.
|
|
9.E. Resolution E: Board member reimbursement
|
|
9.E.1. BE IT RESOLVED that School Board members be authorized to receive payment of actual and necessary expenses while traveling in the performance of their duties.

9.F. Resolution F: 2026 Annual Meeting Date
|
|
9.F.1. BE IT RESOLVED that the School Board is authorized to set the date of the 2026 Annual School District Meeting between May 15th and October 31st, 2026.
|
|
9.G. Resolution G: Authority to defend the School District
|
|
9.G.1. BE IT RESOLVED that the School Board is directed to provide for the prosecution or defense of any action or proceedings in which the School District is interested (Section 120.10(14) Wis. Stats).

9.H. Resolution H: School Lunches
|
|
9.H.1. BE IT RESOLVED that the School Board is directed to furnish school lunches to the pupils of the School District and appropriate funds for that purpose.
