Description:
The recommendation is that the Highland Park Independent School District Board of Trustees approve the items listed on the Human Resources Report. The District will not incur additional expenses with the approval of the Human Resources Report for the month of October 2024.

9.F. Approve Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with Town of Highland Park for Joint Provision of Public Safety Services
Description:
HPISD and the Town of Highland Park are updating current ILAs into one ILA agreement. The new ILA will incorporate the D.A.R.E. officer program and the SRO program (both in partnership with the City of UP), School-Based Law Enforcement (SBLE) Officers at Armstrong Elementary and Bradfield Elementary, and Crossing Guard services for students walking to and from school in designated crosswalks throughout the Town. The new agreement has the same basic provisions and the same impact to HPISD as the three ILAs it will replace.
