A. Presentation by ESC 14 regarding the possible addition of a CNA program. B. The 2024-2025 school calendar recommendation will be coming to you at the April school board meeting. We will send out an Option A and an Option B to all faculty, staff, and parents on March 6, 2024, for them to vote on one. The calendar survey will close at noon on Friday, March 22, 2024. Spring Break is the big decider. Many are taking the week of March 10-14, and many are taking the week of March 17-21. |

Personnel Matters: The board is not required to conduct an open meeting to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee. However, the board may not conduct a closed meeting for these purposes if the officer or employee who is the subject of the deliberation or hearing requests a public hearing. Tex. Gov’t Code § 551.074.

B. Security Personnel, Devices, Audits: The board is not required to conduct an open meeting to deliberate the deployment, or specific occasions for implementation, of security personnel or devices, or to deliberate a security audit. Tex. Gov’t Code § 551.076.
