D. Public Comments Requested: The public is invited to provide written comments submitted by
email to the District on the following topics:
a. What are the qualifications you would like to see in an interim superintendent.
b. What process should be used by the board to hire an interim superintendent.

E. Action: To declare a vacancy for the superintendent position.

F. Review and discussion on Recruitment and Appointment of the Superintendent under Board
Policy CBB.

G. Consultation with District’s legal counsel to discuss options for available to the Board under
District Policy.

H. Board discussion on next steps relating to the recruitment and appointment of an interim
superintendent.

I. Invitation for public comment by email relating to (1) qualifications for interim superintendent;
and (2) the recruitment and appointment process for an interim superintendent. These email
comments will be considered by the board for next meeting scheduled for Friday July 23, 2021.

ORS 192.640(1) The governing body of a public body shall provide for and give public notice, reasonably calculated to give actual notice to interested persons including news media which have requested notice, of the time and place for holding regular meetings. The notice shall also include a list of the principal subjects anticipated to be considered at the meeting, but this requirement shall not limit the ability of a governing body to consider additional subjects.
