Description:  Approve Policy GGBN as an update item. This update includes an increase in the salaries of Cafeteria Managers. The increases in Food Service salary scales will move JCSD to the Coastal Average of salaries. 

Description:  Approve Policy JCA as an update item. This update includes our current district practices and procedures for student conduct. 

Description:  Approve rescinding Policy JGFD from 2004. The information contained in this policy is outdated and redundant. 

Description:  Approve to adopt this policy clarifying the steps needed to be released from an employment contract. MSBA will assign a policy code once approved. 

Description:  Approve to adopt this policy to ensure management of federally funded assets. MSBA will assign a code after passing the approved agenda. 

Description:  We must approve the ACT District Testing Program Terms and Conditions that are custom-prepared for JCSD for 2026-27.  The junior class will test on paper in the fall of 2026 and the sophomore class will test online in the spring of 2027.  The district will pay for these tests.  The quotes for testing materials for each are attached along with the Terms and Conditions document.

Description:  This is a request to obtain approval for MP Design Group to start the process of designing lights for the following athletic facilities:
Softball, Baseball & Football Stadium

Description:  This location is currently in the process of being leased between JCSD and JCBS.  The county would like to begin site prep work on the property prior to the execution of the lease agreement.  The 27 acres was not previously leased and is mostly a wooded area.  

Description:  This lease has two parcel numbers attached.  The current lessee would like to cancel the lease and release the parcel with Wards.

Description:  This is a new lease containing only tax parcel number 02316000.040.  The state lease number will remain the same.

Description:  This section approves the transfer or release of students into and out of Jackson County School District based on a parent's employment within or outside our district for 2026-2027 school year.  Some students also choose to be released from JCSD and pay tuition in another district with that noted on the request.
