Description:  This high school platform is designed to support and enhance educational programs with tools the teachers need for intervention, remediation and enrichment.

Description:  Our district has used STEMscopes for the middle school science curriculum for several years now.  It is an MDE adopted HQIM for science instruction since 2018.

Description:  JCSD students have used these books for the past several years.  They have proven to provide the needed curriculum to prepare students for success in graduation rates and testing well when preparing for further educational opportunities.

Description:  Edgenuity is an online learning platform, formerly known as Education2020, that provides digital coursework for grades 6-12, offering core, elective, AP, test prep, and career-related courses, used for both initial credit and credit recovery. 

Description:  This purchase is for 20 licenses for each high school for math and reading for students at risk.  It also includes free educator site licenses for professional development at each high school campus. Our high school intervention students have used iReady for the past several years. 

Description:  This purchase will provide our teachers with  Reading and Writing site licenses, as well as books for students at each upper elementary and middle school in our district.

Description:  The renewal will provide MyOn for K-5, AR for K-5, Star Comprehensive for 1-3, Custom data integration (rostering) and the Annual All Product Renaissance Platform at each upper and lower elementary school. These programs provide online and remote access to be used with any curriculum.  They support instruction with standards-aligned texts while providing books and audio to promote lifelong reading tools to engage students as they work toward personal goals.  MyOn meets MDE requirements for digital book access, AR targets optimal text difficulty for students that encourages growth in skills, and STAR meets MDE requirements as a screener as well as aids in determination decision for interventions.

Description:  This proposal will provide professional services both online and in person for Into Reading K-6.  

Description:  This three year license is a suite of test and worksheet generators designed for math teachers, allowing them to create custom math problems and assignments for various math topics, including pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and calculus. 

Description:  Educaide Problem-Attic allows teachers to act on the data with the world's largest online question bank and the most flexible formatting and delivery system.  It bridges the gap between instruction, assessment and technology in support of student success.

Description:  The JCSD pays for each junior class student to take the ACT because it offers several advantages, including completing coursework covered on the test, allowing time for improvement, and providing ample time to prepare for college applications and potentially retake the test if needed.

Description:  Our partnership with USM provides their teacher candidates with meaningful learning and teaching experiences in a supportive environment.  This collaboration is instrumental in preparing future educators for success, many of whom are eventually employed in our school district. This is an ongoing partnership.

Description:  The board approved the USM RTAP MOU with JCSD on 1-13-25.  This form will enable our district to receive incentive money as an employer partner.

Description:  Approve Renewal of 2024-2025 Services Agreement between Mississippi State University and Jackson County School District for Support of STEM Summer 2025 Camps at FabLab

Description:  This change order will return $60,412.00 to this project.

Description:  This proposal has an overall increase for FY 25-26 in the amount of $ 12,780.00. Breaking this down for the year at 36 weeks- this would be $355.00 p/week. With the fluctuating gas prices and vehicle maintenance we feel this is reasonable and ask for your approval.

Description:  Replacement of 300' of a 3" water line at the south side of this project.  Waterline crosses new south road.  Replace saturated fill dirt with compacted fill dirt for road work.  The work shall be carried out without changes in current contract sum or time as outlined in the attached architect/engineer supplemental instruction.

Description:  This parcel is located on Hwy 57 in between BJ's Cafe and Steed's Collision. The ice machine is an industrial ice machine that will also offer purified water. 

Description:  Ms. Robinson is selling her house and the buyers are signing a new lease agreement with JCSD. 

Description:  This is a new lease with terms due to leasee purchasing the house from Angela Robinson. 

Description:  Additional property needs to be added to the current substation easement for expansion and land maintenance of the current site. This is a one time lump sum payment for the easement. 

Description:  The business will continue to operate as a collision center.  The operations owner will transfer to Classic Collision.  Steed's Collision will retain the lease agreement.
