Description:
The current interest rate on our outstanding 3 mill note is 2.50%. It is estimated that the district has the 3 mill debt service capacity to pay off the 3 mill note two years early and save ~$190,000 in interest costs. The district would still retain the option of issuing another 3 mill note using its 3 mill note debt service capacity over the next several years though if issued it would more than likely be at a rate higher than 2.50%.
