VI. Hear from Visitors
Description:  Hear questions and/or comments from the public on the Budget.

The purpose of this segment of the meeting is to give people the opportunity to express their viewpoints on any issues relating to the proposed 2019-2020 school year budget.

Comments directed to the Board of Education should be made in a courteous, respectful and civil manner, keeping in mind that adults must act as role models for the children whom we are educating and preparing to become productive citizens in the future.

Visitors who wish to speak to the Board of Education will be asked to clearly state their name, address, and the topic they wish to address.
VII. Identify Propositions
VII.A. PROPOSITION NO. 1 (BUDGET)
SHALL THE DISTRICT APPROPRIATE THE NECESSARY FUNDS TO MEET THE ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES FOR THE DISTRICT WHICH WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THE ENSUING YEAR FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES, EXCLUSIVE OF PUBLIC MONIES, AND AUTHORIZE THE LEVY OF TAXES THEREFORE?
VII.B. PROPOSITION NO. 2 (SCHOOL BUSES)
SHALL THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED TO WIT:  RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE UNION-ENDICOTT CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT BE AUTHORIZED TO ISSUE DISTRICT OBLIGATIONS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $405,000.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 65 PASSENGER DIESEL SCHOOL BUSES AND THREE (3) 30 PASSENGER GAS BUSES, AUTHORIZING THE LEVY OF A TAX TO BE COLLECTED IN ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS, TO MAKE FUTURE DEBT PAYMENTS?

VIII.A. There is one (1) Board Seat Open:
This Board Seat will expire on June 30, 2019.  The seat is currently held by Mr. Dick Testa
The term for the seat is five (5) years and the term is from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2024.
VIII.B. There is one (1) Candidate who have filed a Legal Petition on or before the due date:  Dick Testa
IX. Discuss Upcoming Dates
IX.A. May 14, 2019 - School District Budget Notice Mailed
IX.B. May 21, 2019 - Budget Vote and Election of School Board Members
Polls are Open from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m.

X. Recess the Meeting.
Description:   
X.A. Recess the Public Hearing (Annual Meeting) of Voters.
Moved by _____, seconded by _____, approving the recessing of the Annual Meeting until 12:00 noon on May 21, 2019, at which time the polls will open for the eligible voters of the Union-Endicott Central School District.
