Description:  On December 17, 2021, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, a federal appeals court whose decisions are binding in Michigan, issued an order allowing OSHA to implement and enforce their Emergency Temporary Standards regarding COVID-19 Vaccination, Testing, and Face Covering Policy. Following the Sixth Circuit order, OSHA issued the following statement:
"To provide employers with sufficient time to come into compliance, OSHA will not issue citations for non-compliance with any requirements of the ETS before January 10 and will not issue citations for noncompliance with the standard’s testing requirements before February 9, so long as an employer is exercising reasonable, good faith efforts to come into compliance with the standard."

The main requirement of employers by January 10 is to adopt a policy that aligns with the order. NEOLA has provided po8450.06 and ag8450.06 V2 to be compliant with the order. The policy and guidelines are attached. Also attached is the information that will be provided to employees once the policy is approved.
