Description:

3. Acceptance of Consent Agenda
Description:  As a good practice, the board should accept the consent agenda for the evening's meeting which consists of a discussion and action regarding the BHSJ County Health Department’s recommendation that the district close for in-person learning for two weeks

RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the superintendent that the consent agenda be reviewed and accepted.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Centreville Board of Education approve / not approve the consent agenda as presented.

4. BHSJ Closing Recommendation
Description:  The BOE will be given an update on the current COVID cases and quarantines within the district, and the health department's recommendation to close for in-person learning for two weeks. 

RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of the superintendent to approve the health department's recommendation to close the district for in-person learning for two weeks until November 13.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Centreville Board of Education approve / not approve the health department's recommendation to close for in-person learning for two weeks, until November 13th. The superintendent is also given the authority to work directly with the health department to monitor the situation, and make decisions as necessary to protect the health and safety of the district's student and staff.
