2. Program Highlight - Superintendent Support Services
Description:
The Field Service Agent (FSA) Program is a support program for all Local Education Agencies (LEAs) designed to meet the unique needs of superintendents and CEOs. The FSA team consists of four positions, with two full-time and two part-time members. The team is led by Cade Smith, who serves as the Director of FSAs.
The clients are divided among the FSAs, with Dee Ann Drummond Estlack (full-time) serving all of our Charter Schools, and Cade Smith (full-time), Sherri Bays (part-time), and Lloyd Verstuyft (part-time) serving our Independent School Districts. The FSA team provides support to each LEA's superintendent/CEO and offers board training to all board members. For Information Only. |

13. 2024 Board Election - Canvass Election Results
Description:
Chapter 53, Sub-Chapter AA, Rule 53.1001 of the Texas Administrative Code specifies as follows:
(6) The provisions described in subsection (b)(2) and (5) of this section do not apply if all positions in the election are uncontested. In the event of an uncontested election, the RESC board of directors may determine that no election will be held. The RESC board of directors must make this determination prior to March 1. If, due to an uncontested election, the RESC board of directors determines that an election should not be held, the RESC board shall declare the unopposed candidates elected to office. The RESC executive director shall notify the commissioner of education of the results of an election, whether contested or uncontested. |
