Recognize Visitors: The Marion ISD Board of Trustees designates a time for audience participation at the beginning of each regular meeting to hear persons who desire to make comments. In accordance with Board Policy BED(LOCAL), those wishing to speak shall sign up before the meeting begins stating the concern or noting the agenda item they wish to address. Audience participation is limited to five minutes, audiences of more than five persons shall appoint a representative, and the Board shall not deliberate any subject not on the posted agenda.

CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE MARION INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT PROVIDING FOR THE DEFEASANCE AND CALLING FOR REDEMPTION CERTAIN CURRENTLY OUTSTANDING OBLIGATIONS; DIRECTING THAT THE BOARD SECRETARY, OR DESIGNEE, EFFECTUATE THE REDEMPTION OF THESE OBLIGATIONS; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN ESCROW AGREEMENT; AND OTHER MATTERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH

Pursuant to Tex Govt Code 551.074, consider and discuss possible approval of written consulting contracts for administrator to receive a financial benefit for providing services outside of Marion ISD

Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.
