Recognize Visitors:  The Marion ISD Board of Trustees designates a time for audience participation at the beginning of each regular meeting to hear persons who desire to make comments on a specific posted agenda item.  Those wishing to speak shall notify the Superintendent or Board President via email 24 hours prior to the start of the scheduled meeting and must indicate in writing the agenda item to be addressed.  Public Testimony is limited to 2 minutes.

Action Items

Discuss and Consider a Resolution for Approval of Guadalupe Appraisal District Real Estate Acquisition and Renovation of 216 E. College Street in Seguin, Texas as a Future Site for Appraisal District Operation and take action as necessary

Discuss and Consider a memorandum of understanding with the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office to provide Marion ISD school resource officers for the 2025-2026 school year. 

Consider and take possible action adopting a Resolution approving a short-term lease of District-owned real property generally located at 101 W. Huebinger to River Fire Subs, LLC doing business as Subway, and delegating authority to the Superintendent to negotiate and enter into a lease agreement on behalf of the Board.

Discuss and Consider the 2025-26 Compensation Plan and take action as necessary

Closed Session: The Marion ISD Board of Trustees will convene in a closed meeting pursuant to following sections of the Texas Government Codes:

Sec. 551.072 Deliberation regarding real property, to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property

Sec 551.074 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

Sec 551.076 Deliberation Regarding Security Devices or Security Audits

Consider and take possible action regarding Sec 551.072 Deliberation regarding real property, to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property.

Consider and take possible action regarding Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

Consider and take possible action regarding Section 551.076 of the Texas Government Code deliberation regarding security, safety roles and processes.
