February 28, 2023 at 12:00 PM - Notice of Drawing of Names for a Place on the Ballot

1. This notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, beginning at 12:00 p.m., a drawing will take place in Room 1300 located at 514 W. Quincy Street, San Antonio, Texas 78212. The purpose of the drawing is to determine the order in which the names of SAISD candidates for Board of Trustees Single-Member Districts (SMDs) Two, Five, and Six shall appear on the official ballot for the May 6, 2023 general election of trustees. Each candidate affected by the drawing is entitled to be present or have a representative present at the drawing.

Following the drawing, the name of each candidate who has properly filed an application for a place on the ballot, that complies with the requirements of state law as to form, content, and procedure or whose entitlement to placement on the ballot has been lawfully certified, shall be placed on the ballot in the order determined by the drawing.
