I.A. Announcement by the president whether a quorum is present, that the meeting has been duly called and notice of meeting has been posted for the time and manner required by law.

III.A. Closed Session

III.A.I. Closed meeting will be held for the purposes authorized by the Texas open meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.071 et seq. concerning any and all purposes permitted by the Act, including but not limited to the following sections and purposes:

III.A.I.a. Texas Government Code Section 551.071 Consultation with the board’s attorney on all subjects or matter authorized by law.

III.A.I.b. Consider legal advice regarding personnel issues.

III.A.I.c. Consider legal advice regarding any agenda action item.

III.A.II. Texas Government Code Section 551.072 To deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property if deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the board's position in negotiations with a third person regarding:

III.A.II.a. the possible purchase of the real property in Greenville, Hunt County, Texas, near existing school property for the purpose of future district use; and

III.A.II.b. the sale of 1301 Morse Street, Greenville, Hunt County, TX  75401, legally described by Hunt County Appraisal District as Original Town of Greenville Block 178. 

III.A.III. Texas Government Code Section 551.074 For the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, resignation, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, termination or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

III.A.III.a. Closed session pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee to include an Elementary Assistant Principal, Elementary Principal, Sixth Grade Center Assistant Principal, Middle School Assistant Principal and a High School Assistant Principal.

III.A.IV. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.076 to deliberate regarding:

III.A.IV.a. The deployment, or specific occasions for implementation, of security personnel or devices.

IV. Action on Closed Session Items

IV.A. Consideration and Possible Action regarding hiring of an Elementary Assistant Principal, Elementary Principal, Sixth Grade Center Assistant Principal, Middle School Assistant Principal and a High School Assistant Principal.

IV.B. Professional New Hires

IV.C. Consideration and possible action regarding approval of the Superintendent to make an offer on real property in Greenville, Hunt County, Texas, near existing school property for the purpose of future district use, as discussed in closed session.

IV.D. Consideration and possible action authorizing the Superintendent or designee to begin the statutory process required for the sale of 1301 Morse Street, Greenville, Hunt County, TX  75401, legally described by Hunt County Appraisal District as Original Town of Greenville Block 178, pursuant to the terms discussed in closed session.
