2. Post Legislative Update to the Texas Education Code - this training session is to fulfill the requirements for Board continuing education training under the Texas Administrative Code 19 TAC 61.1(b). The Board will receive a post-legislative update, facilitated by the District's legal counsel, who is a registered provider of Board training. The purpose of the training is to provide an overview of changes and updates from the recent regular session and special sessions of the 88th Texas Legislature that have an impact on public education. No action will be taken at this training session.
