2. Teambuilding Training Workshop - this training session is a continuation of Teambuilding Training on September 7, 2023; and is to fulfill the requirements for board-superintendent teambuilding training under the Texas Administrative Code 19 TAC 61.1(b)(4).  The Board will participate with the Superintendent in this teambuilding workshop.  The purpose of the training is to enhance the effectiveness of the board-superintendent team, and to assess the team's continuing education needs, based on the Framework for School Board Development. As part of the workshop, the Team of 8 will discuss student academic progress and accountability (Framework III: Progress and Accountability); District success measures; staff recruitment and retention (Framework II: Systems and Processs); and parent engagement (Framework IV: Advocacy and Engagement)
