2. Teambuilding Training Workshop - the training session is to fulfill the requirements for board-superintendent teambuilding training under the Texas Administrative Code 19 TAC 61.1(b)(4). The Board will participate with the Superintendent in this teambuilding workshop. The purpose of the training is to enhance the effectiveness of the board-superintendent team, and to assess the team's continuing education needs, based on the Framework for School Board Development. As part of the workshop, the Team of 8 will also discuss the District's strategic framework, including vision, mission, goals and core values (Framework for School Board Development, Framework I: Vision and Goals); as well as systems and processes including Board operating procedures and Board committee structure, policymaking, student academic progress and accountability, safety and security plans, and future priorities (Framework II: Systems and Processes)
