Description:  Individuals may use this time to comment on any items listed as part of the meeting agenda. A copy of Board Policy 187 —Public Participation at Board Meetings is enclosed for your reference. Past practice has allowed 30 minutes for this section of the agenda.

Description:  Amy Johnson and Tim Schell will present the testing and assessment schedule for 2025-2026.  The most significant change from previous years is the addition of local PreACT testing in October 2025 at the high school as part of our continuous improvement efforts.  This is an action item and administration is requesting this be approved for adoption at June 9, 2025 regular meeting of the Board of Education.

Description:  Elevate is a student voice and classroom-level action research and continuous improvement program that we have utilized in recent years at the Intermediate, Middle, and High Schools.  Our instructional coaches at these three schools facilitate our Elevate communities of practice and will share information and answer questions for the committee.

Description:  Amy Johnson and Tim Schell will share information about our intervention programs and outcomes.  This will focus on Act 20 reading implementation at the elementary level and middle school workshops.

Description:  As previously discussed, the administration is recommending updating our district's academic goal to focus on the district and all six schools reaching and maintaining Significantly Exceeds Expectations on the state accountability report cards by 2029.  This is an action item and administration is requesting this be approved for adoption at June 9, 2025 regular meeting of the Board of Education.
