Description:  Individuals may use this time to comment on any items listed as part of the meeting agenda. A copy of Board Policy 187 —Public Participation at Board Meetings is enclosed for your reference. Past practice has allowed 30 minutes for this section of the agenda.

Description:  Tim Schell will provide a summary of the upcoming mathematics resources pilot for grades 5-8 and the work team process that determined the resources that are being piloted.

The Amplify Desmos materials to pilot will cost $11,905.20
The Imagine Learning materials to pilot will cost $2,980.16

Description:  Tim Schell will present a draft 2024-2025 testing and assessment schedule for action.  The schedule is complete as of the information we had when the agenda was being prepared.  We are still waiting for the state's decision on the required early literacy readiness screener.  When that has been adopted by the state, we will update the schedule to reflect the new mandate.

Description:  Tim Schell will provide an update on the teacher leadership postions (chairs, coordinators, etc.) that will be coming to the full Board as action items later this summer.

Description:  Janell Dorn will provide the annual Pathways update as required by policy.  Her presentation will provide an overview on program participation and updates to our screening process we will be implementing in 2024-2025.

Description:  The committee received a comprehensive presentation on AI in education and how this new technology is being utilized in our district.  At its last meeting, the committee decided to carry to topic over to this meeting for discussion.
