V. STUDENT PROGRESS UPDATE-SEL
Description:
Chris Mand and members of our student services team will provide an update on student progress in the areas of SEL and related topics. This is aligned with this year's goal of monitoring student progress as we emerge from last year's pandemic disruptions.

VI. NEW COURSE PROPOSALS
Description:
We have three new course proposals for your consideration. All have passed through the prior approval steps. Each has conditions. The two music courses are recommended for approval but timing of implementation should be dependent on budget and staffing as they may required additional music FTE. Multicultural Literature is recommended with the condition that existing courses be continued. There had been initial discussions about a 1:1 substitution due to budget and staffing, but after additional review we believe that the new elective will likely be staffing neutral as students will make different choices within the English electives.
