VII. VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE DRAFT ORDINANCE
Description:
The Village of Waunakee has shared with the School District Administration a draft ordinance for the airport that would impact the District property along Simon Crestway. Please find a copy of the draft ordinance and a map attached. District Administration has reached out to Rettler to request a drawing as to whether or not softball field lights would be possible with the draft ordinance. Attached please find a drawing of a potential lighting plan for the Varsity Girls Softball field that would be in compliance with the draft ordinance. Rettler is willing to request a permit for the lights so that we have an approved plan in place prior to the Village ordinance being approved. A permit typically allows for a one-year period of time to complete the project. Administration is seeking feedback from the Facility Committee on this topic.
